Biblical Environmental Education for Kids
The greatest resource of Kenya is its children, 60% of its population.
The majority of those in greater Suba struggle against great odds.
A fourth of the total population are orphans… 52,000 of them! They face loss of family, hunger, poverty, misuse by adults, rejection, hopelessness. But they are resilient and respond readily to love and help.
S.E.E.K. RUNS 3-4 DAY CAMPS FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN.
These camps:

Bring a Biblical perspective of God’s love, an individual’s worth, and the life of faith.

Follow the Kenya school curriculum.

Use the outdoors as a classroom.

Use hands-on activities and teach research skills.

Focus on urgent environmental issues in the communities: hunger, poverty, sanitation, disease such as AIDS and malaria.

Teach life skills, applying school learning to life.

Empower children.

Forming ongoing relations with the students and championing them;

Helping students to put what they learn in practice to help their communities;

Assisting them learn more about the real life consequences of how people’s choices affect their environment.

Cost of running a 4 day camp for a class of 30 school children and their teacher is $545.
When you give a camp, you impact the lives of children, their school, and their community, as they go back to implement a project.
Cost of running a club for a month and providing for input for club projects is $35. You can help children succeed in impacting their communities!
